The wife of evangelist David Stockwell, Amy Stockwell, is an anointed worship leader, inspirational soloist, and Bible teacher whose ministry in music, drama and teaching has touched thousands of lives. A graduate of Baylor University in Waco, Texas with a bachelor of fine arts degree in theatre arts, Amy is also a teacher of voice, acting, and speech, and produced and directed Broadway shows for Second Baptist High School in Houston, Texas for seven years.
A ten-year staff member of Second Baptist Church Houston, including several years as secretary to the pastor, Dr. Ed Young, Amy has been a church choir member, production assistant, worship team leader, and inspirational soloist since the age of 15.
As she travels with David, Amy delights school children and adults alike with her upbeat, powerful and well-orchestrated songs. Amy leads in praise and worship at David Stockwell Evangelistic Association ministry events and a variety of venues related to DSEA's evangelistic ministry. Amy is vice-president of David Stockwell Evangelistic Association, and serves as chief administrator of the ministry's 501(c)3 non-profit corporation.
